Juni Cafe

Juni Cafe is a new neighbourhood spot where soft tones, playful textures, and a sun-lit corner invite gentle conversations with friends and family. The refurbishment aimed to uplift the space with intentional design, creating a joyful environment for all. The journey began with a buttery yellow, evoking a gentle, handmade feel that set the foundation for the material palette. Each selection draws inspiration from the cafe’s sensory details, from the rich browns of freshly brewed coffee to the soft, sunny warmth of buttery pastry, connecting the physical space with the café’s identity and community spirit. The recurring motif of the mismatched square checker creates a visual language that echoes the branding, blending modernity with nostalgia and a sense of craft. This rhythm reinforces the tactile experience of stitching and tiled surfaces, deepening the connection between design, materiality, and the cafes welcoming character.
